1962: St Stephen’s art exhibition

Mrs Marriage was rightly proud of her son Philip's design ability, but as she knew that it would be cold for his first exhibition on the roof of HMSO Pocock Street in 1962, she insisted he wore the pullover she bought him for Christmas 'so that he could grow into it.'
