As Mr and Mrs David Silver were willing to revisit Norwich on their trip from Australia, and Mike Gigg make similar effort (also from Down Under — Hove, actually) there was much to talk about in the bar of The Eagle. Thorns in the picture comprise, in rough order of appearance, Messrs Walker, Robbie, Gigg, Burroughs, Rumbold, Pawsey, Whitefield, Rokahr, Martin, Smith, Silver and Macdonald. Interspersing Roses were Anne Eason, Judy Pritchard, Gill Clegg, Janice Pawsey.
